Message from the Armidale Catholic Schools Board Chair
The Armidale Catholic Schools Board is entrusted with the significant responsibility of guiding the strategic direction of the Education Office and the Schools of the Diocese. It also has responsibility to appoint and manage the Director of Schools.
As we look toward the future, our focus remains on ensuring that our education system not only meets the current needs of our students and communities but is also well-prepared to adapt and thrive in an ever-changing world.
Our Catholic schools work with parents and guardians to ensure that the teaching of Jesus Christ and the faith development of our students are fostered and maintained.
The Board’s role is to strategically assess and plan for the long-term sustainability of our school system, ensuring that our mission and values are upheld in every aspect of our work. A key component of our responsibilities includes maintaining the financial viability of our schools, ensuring that resources are managed effectively to support the educational, spiritual, and community goals we aim to achieve.
We are committed to fostering an environment where our schools can continue to provide high-quality Catholic education, and where every decision is made with the best interests of our students, staff, and broader community in mind.
