School Fees & Assistance
Fees are charged for our primary, central and secondary schools in the Catholic Diocese of Armidale
These fees vary from school to school depending on the socio-economic ranking of the area in which the school is located. Please contact your local Catholic school for more information about the school fees that will apply.
In addition to tuition fees, there may be school-based charges for specific subjects, excursions or other activities.

Armidale Catholic Schools endeavours to offer an affordable Catholic education of the highest quality. There is a deeply held commitment at all levels (Diocese, system, parish and school) that no Catholic family should be denied a Catholic education due to a genuine incapacity to pay all, or part, of their children’s school fees. New and existing parents should discuss this with the school Principal who will treat the matter confidentially and respectfully.
Bursaries
Armidale Catholic Schools provides Bursary Grants to 90 secondary students every year to assist families in need with the Catholic Education of their children. In 2024, the amount of the Bursary was $755 per student, and the amount increases annually with CPI.
These grants are allocated on a needs basis, and assessed on family income.
The Bursaries are targeted at students commencing Year 7, but also available for any new secondary students of any year that may subsequently enrol at a secondary school, depending on availability. Once the Bursary is awarded, it will be applied against Tuition Fees every year that the student is at an Armidale Diocesan secondary school providing that a satisfactory record of progress, conduct, and attendance is maintained.
