O’Connor Catholic College is a co-educational high school, from Years 7 to 12. It began in 1975 with the amalgamation of two of Armidale’s longest established schools – St Ursula’s College (est. 1882) and De La Salle College (est. 1906).
Our leadership team is organised around the three pillars of learning – Faith, Innovation and Wellbeing. O’Connor’s motto is a quote from St Paul’s letter to the Galatians ‘The Fruit of the Spirit is Love’.
